My MINI garden

Updated: Mar 14

Good morning to our family here at " True Health Home Care" , today we're sharing five pointers to growing fresh leafy greens at the comfort of your own home .

Firstly :

  • Choose a Suitable Container: Select a container with good drainage, such as a pot or planter box, large enough to accommodate the root systems of your salad greens.

  • Select Your Salad Greens: Choose a variety of salad greens that thrive in containers, such as lettuce, spinach, arugula, and kale. Consider mixing different colors and textures for a diverse and flavorful harvest.

  • Prepare the Soil: Use a high-quality potting mix that is well-draining and nutrient-rich. Fill your container with soil, leaving some space at the top for watering.

  • Plant Your Seeds or Seedlings: Plant your salad greens seeds or seedlings according to the instructions on the packet or plant label. Space them evenly to allow room for growth and proper airflow.

  • Care for Your Mini Garden: Place your container in a sunny location with at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, and fertilize as needed to promote healthy growth. Special little note : Harvest your salad greens when they reach the desired size, and enjoy fresh, homegrown salads straight from your mini garden!
